My name is Sara. I was born in Minnesota, where I lived until last November, when I moved to Cuenca, Ecuador to become an English Teacher. I am a native American English speaker and am currently learning Spanish, so I understand how difficult it is to learn a new language, especially learning to speak and understand native speakers. I have a Bachelors of Arts from Hamline University in Saint Paul, Minnesota, with a minor in Elementary Education. I taught in a daycare for 2 years before moving into Manufacturing, where I spent most of my adult life training individuals for various job tasks. I am especially skilled at tailoring my training methods to meet individual needs. I am a certified TESOL instructor and teach English as a Second Language. I am driven to help people and am excited to help students learn English, especially speaking. I will devote myself to helping each and every one of my students excel and exceed their individual goals as they work toward becoming fluent in their new language. I am confident that my many years of experience, training one-on-one, will make me an excellent teacher of English for you. I am used to adapting to all learning styles and understand that each student has unique learning needs and requirements. I am easy going and friendly, and ready to start teaching you English.
